Having brought home awards in both commercial and creative capacities—including prizes from several cornerstones of the International Film Festival circuit, Ku’s resume attests to his versatility as a filmmaker, cinematographer, director, writer and, above all, a collaborative artist.

While always on the cutting edge of the industry standard in technical developments, Mark also grounds the JSCO team in his unique, well-rounded range of technical practice, experience, and problem-solving ability. Mark’s background in engineering has given him an understanding of how artistic vision can only ever be properly realised through technical craft and a careful eye.

A Director of Photography, Technical Lighting Expert, Camera Operator, and Cinematographer in his own right, Mark’s range of experience has allowed him to test his technical capabilities and furthermore have given him an edge of being able to work both ‘on the fly’ and deep in situ on set. He always carries a jovial attitude on set, alongside a team-minded “get-stuck-into-it” approach.

A lifelong lover of film and raised with a camera in his hand, Jonny Scott has been at the very heart of New Zealand photographic and photographic film developments in the last decade. Paired with a tireless work ethic, Jonny’s communication skills and photographic prowess have created his reputation as someone who can not only realise, but go above and beyond the expectations of his clients.

Jonny’s intimate photographic portraiture is always benefited by his compositional excellence (honed over years in the upper decks of commercial photography), his background in destination photography, and his ability to break down barriers in order to capture feeling.
